Curricula

The curricula are designed for training and mentoring that support municipalities and municipal service providers in applying Circular Economy (CE) principles in daily operations and long-term planning.

Based on survey results from Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, and Denmark, the programme addresses key challenges such as limited technical knowledge, financing needs, and implementation of CE policies. It combines structured training and mentoring to help participants develop practical skills and implement sustainable municipal solutions.

The curricula are organised into three levels: Basic Understanding, Advanced Trainings, and Regional Specialization. Topics include waste reduction, recycling, circular business models, digital tools, financing opportunities, and regional CE strategies.

The curricula combines both training and mentoring sessions, providing participants with theoretical knowledge, practical learning, and continuous expert support for implementing Circular Economy solutions in municipal services.

Using workshops, case studies, peer learning, study visits, and mentoring, the programme helps municipalities strengthen cooperation, improve resource efficiency, and develop practical Circular Economy initiatives across the South Baltic region.
